Duane is originally from the Washington DC metro area and graduated from the College of Business at Frostburg State University with a bachelor’s degree in business finance. Upon graduation, he started his career at one of the largest insurance and financial planning firms in the DC area, where he worked with successful business owners and retirees to help them solve complex financial issues.

Duane moved to Florida in 2004 to continue his career with Raymond James in Fort Myers, FL. Duane earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation in 2012 and his Accredited Investment Fiduciary designation in 2021.

In 2009, Duane founded Madisen’s Match, a charity tennis event that was started after his 3-year-old niece, Madisen was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor. Since 2009, Madisen’s Match has raised over

$1.3 million to support national and Southwest Florida based pediatric oncology charities.

In his spare time, Duane enjoys playing tennis, skiing, boating, and spending time with his wife Jessica, and their Golden Pyrenees Stella.
