Fred was first attracted to the financial services industry by a desire to have a positive impact on people's lives, and he continues to fulfill that ambition every day by providing excellent service and educated, objective investment advice to each of his clients. A commitment to professionalism, personalized service and meticulous financial planning; these are just a few descriptions of Fred Maschmidt's fundamental principles that he uses to form the foundation for a strong, successful client relationship.

Fred's financial career began in 1994 with J. C. Bradford & Company. He joined Raymond James in 1996 as a Financial Advisor and became the Fort Myers Branch Manager in 2014.

A graduate from Mercer University in Macon, Georgia he holds a Bachelor of Science degree in finance. Fred completed the prestigious CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification in 2015.

Fred is originally from St. Louis, Missouri and currently resides in Fort Myers, Florida along with his wife Jennifer, three children, Hanna, Justin, Emaline, and his two stepchildren, Juliana and John. Fred, an avid golfer, has combined both his love for golf and his love for his family by creating a charity named KGM Memorial, Inc.

KGM Memorial, Inc. was established in 2006 in memory of Fred's brother, Kevin G. Maschmidt. Each year in the fall, Fred's charity coordinates a golf tournament and the proceeds are used to promote the education and life saving benefits of organ donation. In 2013, the University of Miami's Life Alliance Organ Recovery Agency honored Fred with the Luminaire Award for his continuous support and commitment to "Donor Family Services".
