Jacob W. Barr, AAMS®
Financial AdvisorJacob started his career as a financial advisor with Raymond James in March of 2020. Prior to that, he completed two internships with Raymond James at ARK Financial Advisors starting in 2018.
Jacob attended Liberty University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Business and Financial Law.
Upon joining Raymond James, Jacob was a participant in the Advisor Mastery Program offered by Raymond James to new advisors.
Jacob holds his Series 7 and Series 66 investment licenses, as well as being Insurance licensed for health and life. Jacob also holds the professional designation AAMS® (Accredited Asset Management Specialist™) obtained through the College for Financial Planning.
When not at work, Jacob enjoys spending time with his wife Alexandra and cat Blue, as well as family and friends. He is a car enthusiast, enjoys traveling, and sports, most of all, baseball. Born and raised in Hagerstown, Jacob and his wife still reside in the area and enjoy giving back to the community. Jacob serves on the United Way of Washington County Community Impact Committee. He and his wife also are supporters and volunteers for the local Humane Society of Washington County, as well as several other local non-profits in the community.
