Matt Baehr

Financial Advisor
Financial Advisor

Matt became familiar with finances at age 14 when he began investing the money he earned from summer construction jobs. Working in the 115-degree Arizona heat, he learned the value of hard-earned money – a lesson that influences the care and respect he shows his clients and their hard-earned assets, today.

His approach to financial planning and investing is focused on process rather than products. This means Matt will get to know you as an individual- your specific financial goals, your general concerns, and your tolerance for risk long before investments are discussed. Even then, the recommended approach for your portfolio will be reviewed in the context of your personalized financial plan, along with an explanation as to how the strategy aligns with your personal goals and investment objectives.

Matthew earned his degree in business sustainability from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University, during which time he founded the Baehr Challenge foundation for Parkinson's. Prior to joining Raymond James, Matthew began his career as a financial advisor and stock benefit plan consultant for a large investment management firm.

Born in Texas, Matt grew up in South Tempe. Today he lives in Phoenix, and when not in the office you’ll find him planning the next Baehr Challenge for Parkinson’s obstacle course race, Oktoberfest for Parkinson's on High Street, or on his kayak with a fishing pole in-hand enjoying the great outdoors.
