Steve has been providing management support to advisors for more than 30 years, including over two decades with Raymond James. In 2000, he became the branch manager of the Raymond James & Associates Orlando branch and has served as the Central Florida complex manager since 2005. He has been helping local financial advisors grow their practices ever since, paving the way for their success while offering valuable support and guidance.

A graduate of the University of Central Florida (UCF) with a degree in finance, Steve has consistently been recognized for his commitment to fostering an environment in which all advisors have the resources and support they need to work in their clients’ best interests. He has been recognized throughout his career by various institutions, including Raymond James.

An active member in his community, Steve is a past board member of the Florida Securities Dealers Association, a member of the UCF Shareholders Society and Letterman’s clubs and has served as co-chair of the Battle of the Brokerages Charity Event from 2002 to 2012, a softball tournament sponsored by The Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida. Currently, he is an active supporter of Special Olympics Florida and their Sunshine Bowl event at Raymond James Stadium, a statewide flag football tournament where Raymond James is one of the title sponsors.

Having grown up playing football, Steve enjoys not only the game but also what it represents to be part of a team. “There is no glory in being a lineman,” he says. “But when my running back ran through the hole I opened and got the touchdown we needed to win the game, I took great satisfaction that I quietly helped the team win. I have that same feeling in my role here at Raymond James.”

A Chicago native, Steve has resided in Florida since 1975 and is married to Robin, with two grown daughters, Reagan and Cameron.

Carl Bucker has worked in the financial services industry since 1993. In 2005, Carl joined Raymond James as a Divisional Sales Manager for the Florida Division and subsequently served as Complex Manager for Greater Palm Beach County. He is currently the Sales Development Manager for Raymond James & Associates in Central Florida, where he focuses on finding experienced advisors with a commitment to putting the needs of their clients first. For his own clients, Carl serves as their financial accountability partner, coach and counselor with the goal of helping them to realize their financial and lifestyle dreams.

Prior to joining the financial services industry, Carl attended Vincennes University while on active duty. He graduated from the Securities Industries Institute at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and currently holds his Series 6, 7, 8, 24, 31, 63 and 65 licenses. Carl was drawn to the financial services industry because of the opportunity to help people achieve financial independence. In 1993, he became a Regional Manager at PFS Investments. In 1996, he joined Merrill Lynch as a Financial Advisor and became a Senior Resident Director for the firm in 1998. In 2004, he left Merrill to join Allen & Company as a Vice President, Resident Manager and Corporate Sales Director. Carl was eventually drawn to Raymond James because of the firm’s entrepreneurial environment, service to advisors and great reputation in the industry.

Originally from New Castle, PA, Carl currently lives in Ocala, FL with his wife Renee. Carl has five children - Sasha, Tyler, Carly, Trevor and Quentin - one granddaughter, Taylor and a grandson, Thomas. He enjoys spending time with his family, being outdoors, snow skiing and classic cars - especially 60’s muscle cars.

John Quigley is a senior vice president of investments with more than 23 years of experience in the financial services industry. His mission is to provide advisors with the best possible leadership and advice with integrity, honesty and professionalism. John strives to provide a high level of value and benefit to his advisors. He knows that making the important decisions affecting your future is easier when working with someone you trust. John works hard every day to earn your trust.

John is originally from Piqua, Ohio, and earned his bachelor's degree from Bowling Green University and his MBA from Wright State University. He and his wife, Rhonda, have one son. Away from the office, John enjoys travel and coaching his son's sports teams. He is an active member of Lakeside United Methodist Church and on the board of directors for the Orlando Shakespeare Theater.

Lydia joined Raymond James in 2007 as a client service associate directly after graduating college. Lydia quickly became known as a “go-to person” in the branch for providing excellent service and support to the advisors and clients she interacted with. In 2013, Lydia was promoted to complex administrative manager. In her role, Lydia oversees the development and coaching of branch staff as well as the complex’s unique centralization of branch processes. Using her firm and industry knowledge and passion for efficiencies, Lydia also plays a crucial role in the complex’s onboarding of advisors transitioning their clients to Raymond James. With the help of branch staff from around the complex, she has led over 10 transitions totaling over $2.6 billion in assets under management.

With Lydia’s dedication to being a voice for the branch associates and an advocate of change, she welcomed the opportunity to have a seat on the firm’s Operations Manager Advisory Council from 2016-2017 and to be its chair in 2018. Lydia was also recognized as the Eastern Division’s Outstanding Administrative Manager of the Year in 2018.

Originally from Long Island, New York, she moved to Central Florida in 1993. Lydia is a graduate of the University of Central Florida, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in finance. She is Series 7, 66 and 9/10 registered.

Lydia and her husband, Josh Woodruff, live in Orlando with their sons, Teegan and Kreu, and the family dog, Brix. Outside of the office, Lydia enjoys being outdoors, cooking, traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Karrie joined Raymond James in 2012 as a client service associate. Since that time, she acquired the Series 7, 66 and 9/10 licenses. She joined the Central Florida complex management team in 2019. As branch administrative manager, she provides excellent service and support to both advisors and clients. She values the company’s philosophy of putting clients first and its over 60-year history of building solid, trusting relationships.

Karrie is a graduate of the University of Central Florida, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in finance.

Originally from Bay City, Michigan, Karrie moved to Central Florida in 2004. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading and relaxing on the beach.

Charlene began her career in the Financial Industry in 1986 where she worked as a Registered Client Service Associate with Dean Witter (merged with Morgan Stanley) in Stuart, FL for 15 years. Seeking a different challenge she acquired the Series 9 & 10 Licenses as well as the Florida Life, Health and Annuity License and went to work for Prudential Securities in 2001 as the Branch Operations Manager and then as the Complex Operations Manager throughout Prudential's joint venture with Wachovia Securities and their subsequent acquisition by Wells Fargo. The reputation and culture drew her to join Raymond James in 2010 where she is happily a member of the Central Florida Complex Management team and based out of their Stuart, FL office. Charlene resides in Port Saint Lucie and has one daughter Laura and son-in-law Jason. In her spare time she enjoys golf, working on home projects and listening to local musicians from the surrounding area.

Salima has worked in the financial services industry since 1986, beginning at Bear Stearns & Co., where she spent 10 years acquiring institutional and market knowledge in a variety of roles. Ready to begin exploring retail, she joined Dreyfus in 1996, where she earned her Series 7 license and later became a registered associate. In 2003, she became a registered sales assistant at Smith Barney in Orlando before joining Steve Fricke and Matt Taravella as an operations specialist with Raymond James & Associates in 2005.

Since moving from her native Guyana to Queens, New York, in 1981, Salima has acquired several continuing education certificates, including formal training in secretarial science, as well as a diverse mix of business experience. A naturalized U.S. citizen, she is very close to her four brothers, her sister and her mother, all of whom now reside in the United States.
