A graduate of Texas A&M University, he holds a Bachelor of Business Administration.
Dwight is committed to serving his community professionally and personally. He has served on the executive board of The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce, acting as vice president and treasurer. In 2009, he was appointed commissioner of the Montgomery County Emergency Services District #10 by Montgomery County Commissioner, Craig Doyal, where he served until 2017.
A lifelong Texan, Dwight was born in Gilmer, grew up in Irving, went to school in College Station and settled in Montgomery County, where he lived for 36 years with his wife, Iris, and their daughter, Bailey. In May, 2017, Dwight moved his family to College Station. The family is active in Grace Bible Church, in College Station. In his spare time, Dwight enjoys golfing, gardening and traveling.
