Ray brings over thirty years' experience in the financial services arena, combining both wealth and investment management, trust, estate, and financial planning. With a focus on both tax-exempt and taxable income securities, he collaborates with local individuals and families to develop personalized plans to address concerns and help meet unique income and asset protection needs.

Ray's eighteen years in the trust and estate industries permit him to assist clients in recognizing personal, tax and financial pitfalls and make adjustments accordingly. Ray is a debt-adverse, fee conscious advisor, believing in a lifetime goal of personal and family stewardship. He strives to be his client's contact of choice when dealing with their individual and financial challenges and enjoys making "house calls" to perform regular reviews and address issues that impact those he is blessed to serve.

Ray is a graduate of Indiana University (Bloomington) with a degree in Psychology. He is an Honors Graduate from the American Bankers Association National Graduate Trust School and a prior Class President. He holds Investments licenses Series 7, 63, 66, 31 and 24, is a State of Texas General Lines Insurance Agent for Life and Health, as well as being a Certified Financial Planner™, CFP® designate.

He lives near Huntsville with his wife of thirty-three years, Martha, and are blessed with two children, Carolyn (married to Daniel Kimery) and Paul. Ray and Martha are actively involved in their church, Christ Presbyterian Church (PCA) where he is an instrumentalist (bass guitar and keyboards) in their Praise Team.

Ray joined Crossbridge Wealth Strategies, LLC in February 2020. He was with Dimpel, Rhoades & Associates (RJFS - Woodlands) for nearly ten years, after six years with Merrill Lynch. Prior to then, he worked as a Trust Officer, Administrator, and Manager for banks in Indiana, northwest Arkansas, and lastly with Klein Bank and Trust prior to its merger.
