Education: Bachelor of Science – Accounting – University of Texas at Dallas

Denise started her career at EDS and worked there for several years in accounting, compliance, and auditing capacities. She was a stay-at-home mom for quite a few years until her oldest son started high school. She worked part-time at Curves for Women as a fitness coach and also at All World Travel as a bookkeeper. She started working at Dawson Private Wealth in January 2016 as a client services specialist assisting the office manager with submitting client paperwork, marketing projects, and supporting the financial advisors and is now the office manager.

Denise is the founder and president of the Allen Garden Club since 1998. She helped found and is a member of the Allen Community Band where she has played flute since 2013. She also plays her flute each weekend with her church choir. She and her husband, Troy have been married since 1990 and have three grown sons. Her oldest is a 2017 graduate of the University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. Her second son received his bachelor’s degree in bio-medical engineering from The University of North Texas in 2020. Her youngest son graduated in 2021 from the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point, New York with a bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering and Shipyard Management. He is currently serving our country in the U.S. Army at Fort Cavazos in Killeen, Texas as a 1^st lieutenant in the 36^th Engineering Regiment.
