Robert Richardson focuses on wealth, taxation and generational planning for high net worth families. He works closely with Tricia O’Neil to get her perspective on the markets and then share this information with our clients to keep them well informed and on track toward their goals.

A Certified Financial Planner practitioner, Rob has attained the prestigious CFP® certification, one of the most respected financial planning credentials and the recognized standard of excellence in personal financial planning. He adheres to the CFP® Board’s code of ethics for integrity, objectivity, competence, fairness, confidentiality, professionalism and diligence.

After receiving his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Bryant College, Rob joined Price Waterhouse in 1994. He became a certified public accountant (not practicing at Raymond James) in 1997 and earned his master’s degree in taxation in 2005 from Bryant University.

In 2006, he joined Smith Barney as the tax and business valuation specialist in the New England Region’s high net worth planning center in Boston, Massachusetts. He joined Merrill Lynch in 2008, beginning his career as a financial advisor. Before joining Raymond James, Rob spent 10 years at Morgan Stanley.

In his free time, Rob enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, playing golf at Kirkbrae Country Club and traveling, especially to Disney World. Rob currently serves as the president of the Smithfield Rotary Club and is also a member of the Board of Governors at Kirkbrae.
