Melissa has been working in the financial industry since she graduated from Valdosta State University in 2005. She has been working with Emerald Coast Wealth Advisors for over a decade and awarded an achievement medal for being the longest associate, well other than Steve, to put up with Brian!
Melissa’s meticulous and dedicated approach allows her to fulfill our clients' needs with kindness and compassion. She has the ability to multitask while paying attention to detail and sometimes speaks a language that only she can understand but takes the jokes in stride.
Melissa and her family returned to her home state of Georgia (GO DAWGS!) after her husband, Chris, retired from the USAF in 2020. Together they have 3 girls, Madelyn, Maisey and their fur baby, Honey, a Goldendoodle who tends to think she’s human.
Melissa believes in the power of understanding and connection, both personally and professionally. When she is not building client relationships or watching her girls play sports, you could find her in the sun on a pool deck or with her toes in the sand – either will suffice!

- Colleen Hoover is her favorite author because she is captivated after turning the 1st page of each book!
- She met some of her closest friends through her sorority, Kappa Delta.
- If a movie is longer than an hour and a half, you can count her out as she can’t sit still that long!
