Ethan Kim is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner, and CO-founder and the Managing Director of Fisette & Kim Financial Services. He is ardent and dedicated to the financial success of his clients and their families, while committed to building personal, lifelong relationships with his clients. As lead advisor, Ethan designs and implements personalized financial plans and investment strategies across the spectrum of his clients' financial lives. Ethan learned the value of diligence and perseverance when he worked full-time while attending the University of Washington as a full-time student. Coming from a modest background, Ethan’s mother worked three jobs during the summer before Ethan's freshman year, to provide sufficient funds for the first two quarters' tuition. With his mother's life savings in one hand, and steadfast determination in the other, Ethan embarked on an amazing journey that ultimately took him to where he is now: Managing Director of an independent financial practice.

Ethan began his career in the financial industry as a teller at Bank of America in September of 2002. After four successful years in banking as a teller, personal banker, and assistant manager, and graduating from the University of Washington Foster School of Business with a B.A. in Entrepreneurship in June of 2006, Ethan became one of the youngest Financial Advisors at Bank of America Investment Services, Inc. (now Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner, & Smith, Inc.) when he joined the firm in January of 2007 at the age of 23. Ethan joined Key Investment Services, LLC in December of 2010 as Financial Advisor and Vice President, until 2020. Ethan then went onto begin his independent financial practice in September of 2020.

Ethan was born in Seoul, South Korea. As a child of an Army sergeant, he lived in South Korea and Panama. Ethan moved to Washington in July of 1990, and currently resides in Maple Valley, WA. Ethan is happily married to his wife, Jie, and has three energetic children, Eli, Emmett, and Ella. Additionally, Ethan & Jie are active members of their faith, where Jie is the Children’s Director for Cross Life Community Church in Federal Way, WA, while Ethan serves as a leader for church’s LIFE Groups.
