Joel Gravina
Joel Gravina, CEPA®, CRPC™ Associate Vice President, Investments Private Wealth Advisor

For over a decade, Joel has been making a difference in the lives of his clients by helping them understand the intricate details of their finances as they work to achieve their goals. He has a passion for tailoring financial plans by listening attentively to his clients’ personal stories and identifying the most effective strategies for their needs and goals. Joel also enjoys using metaphors and analogies to make complex financial concepts easy to understand, allowing families to make informed decisions with clarity and confidence.

Whether in enviable markets or times of financial volatility, Joel is dedicated to delivering service rooted in integrity and being truthful with his clients, helping them distinguish between facts and what could just be scare tactics. No matter how challenging a discussion may be, he shares his knowledge with authenticity and compassion.

Raised in the Poconos region of Pennsylvania, Joel has been fascinated with money management since he was a child. The youngest of four siblings, he was always a natural at math. His parents often share how one of his older brother’s favorite books as a child was “Pokey Little Puppy,” whereas Joel’s was “Compounding Simple Interest.” Joel was also inspired by his two grandfathers. One of them served as the senior vice president and corporate secretary (the equivalent of a COO) at Dun and Bradstreet. He taught Joel the importance of hard work, structure, discipline and perseverance. His other grandfather was a piano tuner and the owner of a music store. From him, Joel learned the importance of living by the golden rule – to do things with love, integrity and humility. Since then, the lessons Joel gleaned from his beloved grandfathers have colored his life and his career, especially when it comes to serving families.

Joel’s personal experiences motivate him to help improve the lives of his clients, working to help their financial future through thoughtful planning. It’s in that spirit that he’s also committed himself to learning as much as possible about the financial field, earning his Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor℠ designation in the process. In 2017, Joel was also named a Portfolio Manager and a Family Wealth Advisor in 2018 by Morgan Stanley. Joel continued advancing his career in 2021 by joining Raymond James, a firm that gives him the tools, resources and support to provide strategic wealth management guidance that puts families and their goals first.

Aside from serving clients across Florida, Joel makes it a point to give back to his community in other ways. Since moving to Naples in 1997, he has been involved in supporting his local church as well as the Cancer Alliance of Naples, Harry Chapin Food Bank, American Cancer Society, and the Castleman’s Awareness and Research Effort. He is especially devoted to St. Matthew’s House – a local foundation committed to fighting homelessness, hunger, substance abuse and poverty in Southwest Florida – where he teaches people how to get back on their feet to create their own success.

Joel has been married to his wife, Danielle, for over 20 years. The happy couple has two children, Giovanni and Lucia. When he’s not in the office, Joel can be found relishing the simple things in life, such as spending quality time with his family in Lake Placid – doing everything from boating and tubing to jet skiing and building fire pits – as well as enjoying family game nights.

Family is what matters to Joel, and helping care for yours would be his greatest honor.
