Clay graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor’s degree in accountancy in 2015 and began his career in public accounting, completing tax returns for large corporations, partnerships, and individuals. After a year, he retired to the mountains where he worked a ski lift in Vail, Colorado for the winter. Upon his return to the South, Clay took another accounting job – this time a financial accounting role for a healthcare firm in Nashville, TN. Clay eventually transitioned from accounting and joined Raymond James in 2018.
Clay is responsible for investment research and analysis, financial planning, and portfolio reporting. In his free time, you’ll find him watching Auburn football, sitting inside SunTrust park cheering on the Braves, or on the golf course.
