Glen has been advising and serving clients since 1999 and joined Raymond James in 2006. He enjoys getting to know clients to determine what is important to them and developing customized solutions to help them achieve their objectives. Glen’s clients appreciate his honest, straight-forward approach.
He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® practitioner and has completed an MBA from Georgia State University with a major in Personal Financial Planning. He also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Glen has also earned the Private Wealth Advisor Designation. This designation reflects his experience in managing the financial concerns of families, individuals and organizations of significant wealth, and his mastery of methods and resources necessary to support their expansive financial interests. Glen has lectured on a variety of wealth management topics to Fortune 500 executives, healthcare professionals, non-profit groups, and attorneys. He has presented on various topics including retirement and investment planning, charitable strategies, and legacy planning at various institutions including the Georgia Institute of Technology and Georgia State University.
Glen grew up on a farm in South Georgia and attributes many of his values today to those experiences growing up. He and his wife, Jennifer, live in Cartersville and have three children. Glen and Jennifer are involved in their children’s activities through church, school, or sports. He is also active in his community, currently serving on the Board of Advocates for Children (Chairman), also having served with the Cartersville-Bartow Chamber of Commerce (small business council chair), past Board Member of the Cartersville-Bartow Community Foundation, and an Education Foundation at Georgia Tech (Chairman, President). He is also active at his church, having served as Deacon, Chair of Stewardship Committee, and Chair of Finance Committee. In his spare time, Glen is interested in physical fitness, history, and enjoys fishing.
