Darcie Guerin, CFP® First Vice President, Investments Regional Executive

Darcie has worked in the financial services industry for 33 years. As a child, Darcie’s family inspired good money habits prompting her interest in finance. Her passion continues today as she shares her knowledge and planning expertise with her clients, shaping their portfolios for their long-term needs.

Darcie received her BA in Economics from the University of Vermont in 1982, and began her career in the financial services industry with Dean Witter Reynolds in New England. In 1997, Darcie and her husband moved to Marco Island, Florida where she worked with Barnett Private Investments and then A. G. Edwards. In 2005, she joined Raymond James where she is the Resident Branch Manager and Vice President, Investments. Darcie believes in the importance of education and earned her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification, which the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. awards to individuals who successfully complete initial and ongoing certification requirements.

Her sincerity, honesty and empathy are backed by her experience, technical expertise and ongoing education. Her belief that “this is a noble profession” is evident to her clients, who know that she cares about them and what they have to say.

Darcie writes a column for The Coastal Breeze newspaper titled “Ask the CFP® Practitioner” and offers regular educational forums for her clients. She is also on the board for the Marco Island Fire/Rescue Foundation, is Past President of the Marco Island Historical Society and currently serves on their finance committee.

She enjoys spending her free time with her husband and their three grandchildren and traveling.

Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. owns the certification marks CFP®, Certified Financial Planner,  CFP Logo Flame Design and  CFP Logo Plaque Design in the U.S., which it awards to individuals who successfully complete CFP Board’s initial and ongoing certification requirements.
