Justin’s career of over 35 years in the financial service industry has gone full circle, as he once again pursues his passion of working directly with clients and their families as their financial advisor. He began his career in 1981 and for 18 years served clients, concluding with a 6 year tenure at Merrill Lynch. In 2000 he was recruited to join First Virginia Bank as a senior Trust Officer. In 2003, BB&T bought First Virginia Bank and he was asked to lead their effort to serve the bank’s high net worth clients as a Wealth Management Advisor. In 2012 with the arrival of Raymond James & Associates, Inc. first branch office in Hampton Roads, Justin was recruited to once again serve clients as their financial advisor. In 2016, Justin transitioned to Hampton Roads Financial, LLC and Raymond James Financial Services. Justin has experienced financial markets of every type. His experience allows him to advise clients on how to augment the performance of their investments while attempting to avoid unnecessary risk. While advising a diverse group of clients, he specializes in advising owners of small to mid-size family businesses.

Originally from Fairfax Virginia, Justin attended Old Dominion University, graduating in 1981 with a BA in Business administration, with a concentration in Finance.

Justin and his wife Elizabeth live in Virginia Beach. Their daughter Stephanie, a Virginia Tech graduate, lives in Norfolk where she works in the technology field. Brandon, their son, a graduate of New York Maritime University works as a professional mariner for Vane Towing on the Atlantic seaboard. The family shares a passion for sailing and may often be seen competing on their boat as members of the Hampton Yacht Club.
