Jim joins Raymond James after spending the past five years at Morgan Stanley. Previously, he had 21 years of experience as an options professional and business owner, as well as a former member of CBOE, CBOT, AMEX and COMEX/NYMEX. His time at Morgan Stanley included running financial planning for the coastal Connecticut region in addition to helping advisors with portfolio management. By joining the independent channel of Raymond James, Jim is looking forward to helping clients pursue their financial needs and goals.

Jim helps clients create a road map by making certain he understands their needs, wants and desires, along with their individual risk parameters. He creates a financial plan, invests accordingly and then dynamically monitors their position, including any of life’s changes. Additionally, he supports portfolio management by tracking risk and utilizing options strategies when suitable.

Jim graduated from the Krannert School of Management at Purdue University with an MBA in finance after graduating with distinction – and an affiliation with Phi Beta Kappa – with a BS in economics from Purdue University. He was a member of the Purdue golf team, a Purdue scholar athlete and Academic All-Big Ten. 

Jim has twin boys, Reilly and Dylan. Reilly will be a freshman at the University of South Carolina and Dylan, who is on the autism spectrum, attends school at Milestones Behavioral Services in Milford, Connecticut. Jim and his wife, Kelly, continually try to help families with children on the autism spectrum by volunteering at Milestones as well as the Autistic Health and Fitness Center.

Jim resides in Fairfield, Connecticut, with Kelly, Reilly and Dylan. He enjoys playing golf, visiting the beach, and traveling to many family-friendly places.
