As a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor℠, David Thompson specializes in concentrated stocks and retirement planning. He strives to develop personal relationships with clients, evaluating their financial situations and designing retirement plans unique to the lifestyle they wish to achieve.
Prior to joining Raymond James, David was a financial advisor with Merrill Lynch. He earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Kentucky. Active in his community, he is involved with the Rose Hill Baptist Church and Rose Hill Christian School, where he serves as a school board member. He is also involved with the Community Kitchen and coaches youth basketball. Originally from Ashland, Kentucky, he currently resides there with his wife, Krisie, and children, Ross and Haley.
