Ben is a Financial Planning Consultant, holding industry licenses that include the Series 7 and the Series 66. He also earned the Accredited Asset Management Specialist™ designation. Drawing from his deep well of experience, Ben specializes in assessing and addressing financial planning concerns, testing various income strategies, and looking for opportunities to bring efficiencies to clients’ financial plans. Ben’s expertise allows him to help guide clients through complex financial landscapes and empower them to make informed decisions.

Ben graduated from Adrian College Summa Cum Laude in the spring of 2016 with degrees in both public accounting and economics. Before joining Makranyi Spires Financial of Raymond James in June of 2023, Ben worked for over seven years in the public accounting field in Northeast Michigan. His focuses were individual income tax preparation and local government auditing. He obtained his Certified Public Accountant license in March 2019.

Originally from Hale, Michigan, Ben is an active community participant, having coached various levels of boys basketball at Hale Area Schools for seven years, while volunteering at other school athletic events, as well. When not in the office, Ben can often be found at his family’s beef cattle farm in Hale, where he works with his brothers and parents. An avid sports fan, he enjoys watching a wide variety of sports and roots for an eclectic array of teams. Ben is also keenly interested in American Revolution era history and enjoys a good book or discussion on the subject.
