As a Chartered Financial Analyst® with a doctorate in economics, Bassem brings fresh insight to every angle of wealth management. He has been guiding clients through the dynamic markets for the past 17 years, applying precise focus and attention to detail. Whether he is managing portfolios, conducting performance reviews or creating custom financial plans, he takes a client-centric approach. “I have always enjoyed finance as a science; as a financial advisor I have the opportunity and the privilege to put all that into practice for clients.”

He joined Raymond James in 2021 along with the team, drawn by its emphasis on putting clients first. Before that, he spent 12 years with Merrill Lynch and also worked at Citigroup. He earned a B.A. in economics from American University of Beirut in Lebanon and a Ph.D. in economics from Oklahoma State University. He also holds the Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor and Chartered Retirement Planning CounselorSM designations.

Born in Beirut, Lebanon, Bassem currently lives in Lino Lakes, Minnesota, with his wife, Karen. In his free time, he enjoys traveling and taking long walks.
