T.J. and his team have utilized sustainable investing strategies for over two decades. His interest in sustainable investing is a natural extension of his activism in social justice and environmental causes. He and his team are committed to developing the connections between sustainable investing and philanthropy to maximize their clients’ impact on the issues that matter most to them.
As a long time community volunteer, T.J. has a special interest in efforts focused on underserved communities, financial literacy and environmental causes. He was a Big Brother for 12 years and was named Tampa Big Brother of the Year in 20081. He has also served on the Tampa Theatre Foundation Board and local Academy of Finance Advisory Board.
T.J. currently splits time between Tampa Bay and the Pacific Northwest. As active members of the Davis Islands community, he and his family have coordinated semi-annual Coastal Cleanup Days and hosted an annual Santa Stop party for the Davis Island Toy Drive.
T.J.’s love of nature and wild places continues to solidify his commitment to environmental and sustainability issues. He recently joined the Advisory Council for the Mountaineers, a Seattle based organization committed to promoting enjoyment and protection of outdoor spaces.
T.J. serves on Raymond James’ Sustainable Investment Advisory Committee, Sustainability Committee and the Qualified Retirement Plan Investment Committee. He is a business member of 1% For the Planet and Green America.
