Rick co-founded and is a Managing Partner of Platinum Family Wealth. Rick has been a Financial Advisor for 25 years and focuses on customized customer service. Rick uses portfolio modeling, analytics and stress testing of his team’s investment strategies. Rick follows a fiduciary standard and works with affluent clients to make sure he takes care of their simplest to most complex needs. Rick does his best to make the sophisticated investment strategy understandable for his clients. “Helping clients accomplish their goals is most gratifying” says Rick.

Rick has a long history of community service. He has been on the boards of Connections, the First Congregational Church, Mansfield Volunteers of America, Volunteers of America Ohio, most recently a co-founder and Board Chair of The New Store, which clothes over 1000 under privilege children annually as well as giving out 2,200 back packs for back to school in Richland County, Ohio.

Rick is the son of Swedish immigrants Bo and Ingrid Sjostedt. He was born in Mansfield and resides here after graduating from The Ohio State University with a B.S. in Business Marketing. Rick lives with his wife Lori and he enjoys skiing, golfing, hunting, kayaking, fishing, bicycling and anything outdoors with friends and extended family members.
