With 39 years in the financial services industry, Barry has extensive experience assisting families and individuals in pursuing their financial goals. He is knowledgeable in comprehensive wealth management services, with an expertise in multigenerational family planning strategies, and enjoys distilling complex financial matters into meaningful guidance. Barry has had the pleasure of working alongside his clients and their families through as many as three generations, providing the tailored, strategic guidance needed to address the short- and long-term needs they have for themselves and their loved ones.

Barry has worked closely with his son and fellow financial advisor, Michael, since 2011 – each bringing their distinct perspective to provide comprehensive counsel and support for clients. They enjoy working closely together, bringing a continuity to their service, as well as fostering lasting relationships with each of their clients. Together, the pair joined Raymond James in 2016, where they continue to serve business owners, families, pre-retirees and retirees.

Barry’s interest in a financial services career was sparked at a young age when his mom, Helen, introduced him to the world of investing as she managed her own finances. She further encouraged him to pursue a career as a financial advisor and, following his graduation from Pace University, he later joined David Lerner Associates, where he spent 33 years.

A native New Yorker, Barry was raised in the Bronx and Queens. He met his wife, Sheryl, when they were first introduced by a client. The pair moved to Wayne, New Jersey, following their marriage and have two sons, Michael and Jeffrey. They have welcomed their first grandchild Hailey, who is now 1 year old. An avid reader of current events, Barry enjoys photography, gadgets (big and small) and spending time with his wife and sons.

We use a variety of tools including questionnaires and interviews to understand your personal goals, current financial situation, investment experience and risk tolerance. In this step, we make you fully aware of our capabilities and provide educational support to assist you in understanding the scope of the services we offer to help you meet your objectives.

DESIGN

Our team analyzes the information you share with us and designs strategies intended to help you pursue your objectives. This step may involve collaboration with your existing professionals. We present our recommendations to you, answer your questions, consider alternatives and outline the steps we need to take to implement your plan.

IMPLEMENT

In this step, we execute your customized strategy using the extensive tools available to us through Raymond James. This involves the selection of specific account types, investment products and optional services; we then complete the necessary paperwork in a coordinated approach.

MANAGE

Once implemented, we will review the progress of our recommendations relative to your defined objectives and suggest changes where needed. A key to this step is your involvement in the process and communication of any significant changes in your life. We accomplish this by providing reporting of your account activity.
