Stephanie E. Kelly, AAMS® Associate Vice President, Investments

Stephanie serves as primary advocate for women founders who find themselves navigating a major life transition. Whether divorce, the death of a spouse, or other significant changes in circumstance, Stephanie works collaboratively with our clients and their other professional advisors to rebuild a sound financial infrastructure.

Before wealth management, Stephanie spent a decade in the nonprofit world, developing and managing a solutions-based nonprofit mentoring program for at-risk youth. Her philanthropic commitment has continued, and she currently serves on the Board of Oregon College of Art and Craft and is a past board president of Birth to Three, a parenting advocacy organization. She also volunteers as a mentor with New Avenues for Youth.

Stephanie started her wealth management career in 2004 and worked for A.G. Edwards and Morgan Stanley before founding SKA Wealth Strategies in 2013. She received her BA degree in psychology from the University of Oregon and her master’s in social work from Portland State University.

Stephanie’s colleagues will tell you that she has a desktop image that she’ll change to indicate her current mood, and that she has a framed New Yorker cartoon of a duck paraphrasing a Maya Angelou poem.

When not working with the team’s clients, Stephanie can be found supporting local designers and boutiques – her favorites are Radish Underground and Garnish. Along with the rest of the team, she loves international travel; her top pick being Buenos Aires, followed closely by Paris.
