Acquiring the Certified Financial Planner® (CFP®) certification was more than just another credential for Jeramey; it was a turning point in his career – and the genesis of Sound Harbor Financial.
He recognized that to truly prioritize his clients’ needs, he needed the flexibility to be an independent practice, while aligning with a firm that supported and shared his vision. In March 2021 Jeramey founded Sound Harbor Financial as an independent practice and partnered with Raymond James. This partnership allowed for an environment where the client care was at the forefront.

Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Center for Financial Planning, Inc. owns and licenses the certification marks CFP®, Certified Financial Planner®, and CFP® (with plaque design) in the United States to Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc., which authorizes individuals who successfully complete the organization's initial and ongoing certification requirements to use the certification marks.
