Helping you stay on course with credentialed guidance
When choosing a financial advisor, you want to feel confident that person is both competent and ethical. Our credentials are more than just letters after a name. We believe they signal the extra step we take in our professionalism, helping ensure you receive a more personalized and knowledgeable experience when planning your future.
Certified Financial Planner® (CFP®)
Advisors certified by CFP Board have taken the extra step to demonstrate their professionalism by voluntarily submitting to the CFP® certification process that includes demanding education, examination, experience and ethical requirements.
These standards – called “the four E’s” – are valuable reasons why the financial planning practitioner you select should display the CFP® certification marks.
- Education – comprehensive, ongoing skill and knowledge-building
- Examination – rigorous testing on topics across the financial planning process
- Experience – at least three years minimum advisory experience
- Ethics – commitment to a strict code of professional conduct
Accredited Asset Management Specialist® (AAMS®)
Advisors who hold the AAMS® designation have received training in various aspects of the financial planning process, most specifically in investment strategies, retirement planning, tax considerations and estate planning. Choosing to partner with an advisor with this comprehensive knowledge provides access to well-rounded advice that’s tailored to your specific financial goals.
Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™ (CRPC™)
CRPCs receive the training required to optimize the client experience during the retirement planning process and help ensure a smooth and supportive journey towards financial well-being in post-career life. Equipped with specialized knowledge in retirement planning principles and strategies, advisors who hold this credential have the tools to stay updated with industry changes and best practices.
Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Center for Financial Planning, Inc. owns and licenses the certification marks CFP®, Certified Financial Planner®, and CFP® (with plaque design) in the United States to Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc., which authorizes individuals who successfully complete the organization's initial and ongoing certification requirements to use the certification marks.
