As a Retirement Income Certified Professional® (RICP)® , Scott meets with his clients to clearly define their financial objectives, time horizon and risk parameters. He designs comprehensive, custom investment strategies to help meet those objectives. He also works with business owners to help implement and oversee their 401(k) and retirement plans, to allow their employees the opportunity to pursue the goal of financial independence.

He wants his clients to have the confidence in knowing that their investments and their retirement assets will be managed in a prudent and professional manner – so they can focus on what is important in their lives.

Before joining Raymond James in July 2015, Scott was a financial advisor at Wells Fargo Advisors, a senior compliance manager/privacy officer at EmCare, and a financial consultant at A.G. Edwards & Sons.

Scott earned a bachelor’s degree in sales and management, with a minor in psychology, from the University of Texas at Arlington. He has served on numerous boards such as Southlake Rotary and is a past executive board member of the University of Texas at Arlington Alumni Association and the athletic department advisory committee.

Originally, Scott is from the Kansas City area, he moved to the Dallas/Fort Worth area in 1977 and has lived in Grapevine since 1993. In his free time, he enjoys playing golf and reading. He is a longtime member of First United Methodist of Grapevine.
