As part of the Starboard Wealth Advisors team, Brandon W. Persia works with families dealing with major life transitions such as changing jobs, selling a business, loss of a job, loss of a spouse, etc. He has a special focus on young professionals looking to increase their net worth, or beginning the journey of planning for a family, home purchase, kids' education, or retirement, through a variety of investment vehicles and strategies.

Brandon earned a Bachelor of Arts in History degree as well as a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Human Resources concentration degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG). Brandon taught high school Social Studies and Spanish for a short time, but found his true passion was being around, and helping, people. He has a strong knowledge of customer service from his many years in the restaurant business ranging from Bravo Brio Restaurant Group, Bonefish Grill, Outback Steakhouse and McDonald's. He saw the business from a variety of perspectives by working as an assistant manager, office manager, trainer, head waiter, bartender and waiter. From these experiences, he has honed his skills on how to patiently listen, follow-up and then anticipate client needs.

Brandon holds Series 7 and 66 licenses, as well as North Carolina life, accident & health, and Medicare supplement/long-term care insurance licenses. These licenses allow him to provide comprehensive, unbiased and independent solutions to clients.

Brandon is single, originally from Dallas, TX and has lived in North Carolina since 1994. He is fun-loving, an avid "sports nut" and a die-hard UNC Tarheels basketball and Buffalo Bills football fan. He takes pride in knowing the behind-the-scenes story of nearly every college or professional baseball, basketball, football or hockey team player.
