Colby Stewart joined Raymond James as a second generation financial advisor in 2019. Impact and intentionality are of paramount importance to Colby when working with clients. He helps individuals, families, and organizations make a difference in their lives, and the lives of others through their financial plan.
Colby is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and also has the professional designation of Accredited Investment Fiduciary®. He earned these designations to have a fundamental understanding of the principles of fiduciary duty, the standards of conduct for acting as a fiduciary, and a process for carrying out fiduciary responsibility.
Colby earned his bachelor’s degree in Economics from Indiana University in Bloomington in 2017. After graduation, Colby became an internal wholesaler for Pacific Life Insurance Company in Omaha, Nebraska. During his time, he was able to learn the multitude of retirement solutions available to financial advisors and how they are best implemented with clients. Colby managed the New England territory with a primary focus of funding retirement goals and fixed income mutual funds.
After 2 years in Omaha, Colby returned home to Greenwood, Indiana to join the Stewart & Evans team alongside Jim Evans and his father, Doug Stewart. He specializes in the fundamentals of wealth accumulation and management, measurement of investment risk and return, asset allocation, insurance alternatives, business ownership and corporate retirement plans.
