Doug Stewart believes great financial planning starts with listening. He takes the time to understand what matters most to his clients, then works alongside them to build strategies designed to protect, grow, and sustain the success they’ve worked hard to achieve. Known for his steady, disciplined approach, Doug helps clients navigate investment decisions, portfolio construction, tax considerations, and diversification using a wide range of strategies tailored to their goals.
Doug earned his Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Ferris State University and became a Certified Financial Planner® professional in 2007 after completing the extensive education, examination, and experience requirements through the College of Financial Planning. He views ongoing learning and thoughtful planning as essential to helping clients feel confident about their financial future.
An Indiana native, Doug calls Greenwood home. He is the proud father of two grown children and a devoted grandfather to three grandchildren. His daughter, Leza, is an elementary school teacher, and his son, Colby, joined the Stewart & Evans team as a Financial Advisor in 2019—something Doug considers one of the most meaningful chapters of his career.
Outside the office, Doug is deeply involved in the community. He serves as Board President of Hillcrest Country Club and as a board member of the Johnson Memorial Hospital Foundation. A lifelong golfer and member of the PGA of America, Doug also enjoys traveling, spending time with family, and is a member of Greenwood Christian Church.
