Tanner Low, CFP®, CRPC®, AAMS® Financial Advisor

Helping people achieve their dreams is the driving force behind everything Tanner does and why he approaches his work with such a passion. It was this passion to help others that drew Tanner to the financial services industry. Growing up in a boom or bust oil town in West Texas, Tanner witnessed the confusion and uncertainties that that his friends and family faced as they tried to pursue their goals in life. He later realized that these uncertainties were not limited to oil towns and just how important a professional and caring team can be in helping others reach the goals that they desire for themselves and those that they love the most.

Tanner began his financial services career in 2000 while completing his bachelor’s degree in finance and economics at Texas Tech University. Tanner graduated with honors and was the recipient of the Texas Tech Business Administration Scholarship for academic achievement. Tanner has completed the extensive training and experience requirements needed to hold the title of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®, which has long been considered the standard of excellence for financial planners. Tanner is also certified as an Accredited Asset Management Specialist, AAMS® and Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor, CRPC® through the College of Financial Planning. In addition to Tanner’s experience as a financial advisor, Tanner has also worked in Kathmandu, Nepal as the Field Financial Development Officer for a Mission Organization located in 110 different countries. During his time in Nepal, Tanner completed a Master’s Degree in Licensed Professional Counseling with Liberty University in 2016.

Tanner believes that family comes first and derives his greatest joy from spending time with his wife, Krystal, and their four children. Tanner and his family love to attend sporting events, theatre, camping, and fishing. Tanner can come up with almost any excuse to have a cookout and loves his house to be filled with the laughter of good friends and family. Tanner is an active participant and volunteers on numerous Non-Profit boards including Backstreet Arts and Southwest Christian Care.

Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. owns the certification marks CFP®, Certified Financial Planner,  CFP Logo Flame Design and  CFP Logo Plaque Design in the U.S., which it awards to individuals who successfully complete CFP Board’s initial and ongoing certification requirements.
