Colin Long is a vice president, wealth management, financial advisor, financial planning specialist and co-founder of The HarborView Group of Raymond James. Colin provides comprehensive wealth management for high-net-worth clients. He also focuses on the team’s equity and fund research and separately managed accounts.

Born in St. Petersburg, Florida, Colin earned two bachelor’s degrees, in finance and economics, from Florida State University. He began his career at an independent brokerage firm, developing retirement and financial planning solutions for the complex needs of affluent families.

Committed to continuing education, Colin is a Certified Financial Planner^™ professional, a designation awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards. This accreditation marks proficiency and continuing education in financial planning, risk management, investing, tax planning strategies, retirement and employee benefits, and estate planning strategies.

As the HarborView Group’s financial planning specialist, Colin creates, updates, and monitors our clients’ formal financial plans.
