Brian works to understand each individual client’s needs and goals and to provide valuable advice designed to help them achieve their objectives. He prides himself on his honesty in presenting financial choices, and his dedication to making his clients’ experience a positive and beneficial one.

As an Accredited Asset Management SpecialistSM, Brian has completed a course of study encompassing investments, insurance, tax, retirement, and estate planning issues. He adheres to standards of professional conduct and is committed to continuing industry education.

Before joining Raymond James in May 2018, Brian worked at Wells Fargo Advisors, Wachovia Securities and A.G. Edwards. He earned a bachelor’s degree in education from

Dr. Martin Luther College in New Ulm, Minnesota. His first career was teaching 5th and 6th grade for 24 years at Trinity Lutheran School in Bay City, MI and served as athletic director, youth group leader, and coach.

Brian has been active in community organizations for decades. For 24 years, he served on the Board of Education at Trinity Lutheran School, and as a president, vice president, secretary, and member of the Bay Area Lutheran League. For 10 years, he served as secretary of the Humanitarian Aid Committee for World Missions. He is also a past member of the Western High School Touchdown Club.

Brian was born in LaCrosse, Wisconsin. In 1982, he moved to Bay City, Michigan, where he lives with his wife, Laura. They have 3 children, Hillary, Joshua, and David. In his free time, Brian enjoys professional and college football, traveling, walking with Maya his Golden Retriever, and spending time with family and friends.
