Nancy is the Founder and Managing Director of Weingard Wealth Management of Raymond James. Nancy and the team provide a comprehensive approach to the complex needs of affluent individuals, families, business owners and divorced and widowed men and women throughout the United States. Nancy has been with Raymond James since 1996 and is a member of the Raymond James & Associates Chairman’s Council II, – a distinction reserved for the top 5% of Financial Advisors at Raymond James.

Nancy has focused her career on treating clients as she would like to be treated by listening, being empathetic, considering each client’s preferences, taking the time to educate clients about financial alternatives, and striving to provide a first-class client experience based on mutual trust and communication.

In 2024, Nancy was once again recognized by Forbes as a Best-In-State Wealth Advisor, a distinction held by approximately 1% of Financial Advisors nationally, as well as a Forbes Top Women Wealth Advisor. Forbes is laser-focused on finding advisors who make an impact on their clients’ lives, assessing factors including but not limited to: best practices, client impact, credentials and breadth of services.

In addition, Nancy is annually invited to attend Barron’s Top Women Advisors Summit, an invitation-only gathering for high quality women advisors to share best practices and elevate standards of service.

As a former college professor, Nancy believes that the highest levels of education and knowledge translate into thoughtful wealth plans for our clients.

Nancy is proud to be in an industry renowned group as she holds the Certified Financial Planner™ certification. As a CFP® practitioner, she has taken the extra steps to demonstrate her professionalism by voluntarily submitting to the rigorous CFP® certification process that includes highly demanding examination, experience, and continuing educational and ethical requirements.

In addition, she holds specializing designations for financial professionals in long term care planning and estate planning: CLTC (Certified in Long Term Care) and AEP® (Accredited Estate Planner), which is a graduate level accreditation in estate planning.

Nancy and the team adhere to transparent and communicated processes, based on the belief that investments can only be recommended after first gaining a clear understanding of each client’s tax situation, financial goals, estate plan, asset protection needs, cash flow needs, and investment preferences. This understanding allows our team to develop an individualized wealth plan for each client.

The team specializes in delivering strategies in key areas such as, tax-sensitive investment guidance, income and estate tax mitigation, asset protection, estate planning, business retirement planning, wealth transfer techniques for families, pre- and post-divorce planning, and strategic charitable planning.

Nancy is a frequent speaker to women’s groups and family attorneys on topics that include: financial planning, family dynamics, and challenges specific to widows and divorcees.

As a former President of the Greater Boca Raton Estate Planning Council as well as a former national board member of the National Association of Estate Planners and Councils, she believes in a multidisciplinary approach to financial planning. She believes the most successful client relationships are those in which she acts as a trusted financial quarterback helping to guide financial decisions and streamline her clients’ lives by coordinating with their attorneys and tax advisors.

As a former university professor, Nancy believes strongly in financial literacy and encourages her clients to attend the team’s monthly educational seminars or timely virtual events. She educates her clients and empowers them as well as their next generations to be knowledgeable stewards of their wealth. At the request of the client, Nancy welcomes adult children and/or trusted advisors in an initial consultation and throughout the client relationship.

Born in New York, Nancy grew up on Long Island. She attended Syracuse University as an undergraduate and Michigan State University for her graduate degree in Family Studies. Prior to joining Raymond James, she was a professor of early childhood development at the University of Delaware and subsequently transitioned her career to Wall Street, becoming a Vice President of Investments at Oppenheimer & Co.

Boca Raton has been the home of the Weingard Family for 36 years. Nancy, along with her sons Aron and Robert, believes in helping those in the community. Nancy is a co-founder of the first women’s professional council for Hadassah, served on the Board of Directors of the Boca Raton Jewish Community Center, and was a recent member of Planned Giving and Endowment Committee of the Boca Raton Museum, as well as the Business-Professional Advisory Committee of the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. In addition, Nancy, Aron and Robert are proud supporters and volunteers of Experience Camps for Grieving Children – a remarkable national nonprofit organization.

Nancy’s sons joined Weingard Wealth Management of Raymond James after gaining meaningful experience at KPMG LLP Consulting (Aron) and Enterprise Holdings, Inc. (Robert).

She enjoys golfing, hiking, and biking around the world, planning her high school reunions, and attending classical musical performances and Broadway plays.

Most of all, she loves being “Nanny” to her grandchildren, Eli, Liv, and Avi.

This ranking is based upon the period from 6/30/2022 to 6/30/2023 and was released on 4/3/2024. Those advisors that are considered have a minimum of seven years of experience, and the algorithm weights factors like revenue trends, assets under management, compliance records, industry experience and those that encompass best practices in their practices and approach to working with clients.
