CERTIFIED EXIT PLANNING ADVISOR

Aron Weingard is a Managing Partner of Weingard Wealth Management of Raymond James, alongside his brother, Robert, and mother, Nancy, who founded the practice in 1996. He specializes in guiding business owners and high net worth individuals and families.

Aron focuses on wealth planning for individuals and multi-generational families and specializes in guiding business owners with succession planning and exit strategies across the United States.

Typically, business owners are hyper-focused on maximizing enterprise value, but often neglect to optimize personal results and family outcomes. To address this challenge, Aron works with business owners and their families to properly value their business, create a succession plan designed to maximize financial potential, and coordinate details essential to all relevant parties.

Aron is a thought leader at Raymond James and in the industry on business owner exit planning, inflation, and liquidity event tax mitigation. He is often invited to speak regarding these topics in publications and at national wealth management and investment banking conferences. Aron is the creator and host of the Raymond James Business Owner Summits series.

Outside of the office, Aron was recently recognized as America’s Most Charitable Wealth Advisor Under Age 45. Awarded by the Invest In Others Charitable Foundation, this recognition is presented to an advisor 45 years of age or younger who has made a significant impact in communities across the country and around the world. Aron earned this award for leading and helping to build the nonprofit, Experience Camps for Grieving Children, since its 2009 inception.

Previously, as a KPMG Management Consultant, Aron helped global clients with matters of merger integration, financial management and customer strategy. Within KPMG, he started a national initiative to impact employee retention and job satisfaction. This was adopted nationally and impacted 7,000+ employees.

For his charitable and wealth management impact, Aron was recognized as a University of Florida 40 Gators Under 40 Honoree.1

Aron graduated from University of Florida with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and a Master’s degree in Entrepreneurship. He is a member of the UF Hall of Fame, was awarded the Outstanding Leadership Award for Graduating Seniors, and represented his graduating class as the student speaker during the 2007 commencement ceremony.

In his free time, Aron enjoys hosting the “Uncle Aron Olympics” for his niece and nephews, following University of Florida athletics, planning reunions, and hiking.

Aron divides his time between South Florida and New York City.
