    Senior Vice President, Investments

Thanks for taking the time to learn more about who I am and what I do. I consider myself lucky to have grown up here in the Seacoast of NH. Like many, I’m constantly striving for a successful balance between a rewarding career, growing family commitments and community involvement. Free time is typically spent near the water in the summer (ocean, lakes, or chlorine -we’re not picky) and exploring the local slopes in winter. Youth sports is a big part of the schedule, and I enjoy coaching when I can and taxiing to and from events when I can’t.

My wife Maggie is a realtor with the Bean Group. She’s a whiz at finding enough time in the day to manage a household and career at the same time (not to mention being a full time support pillar).

We have three kids that are amalgamations of both our best traits and our challenged ones. Emily is the big sister extraordinaire: Quick, compassionate, funny and the best friend anyone could ever ask for. Matt is known as the missile, and he enjoys launching himself into any activity/sport he can find. Jack is a budding artist, and he tells us that when he grows up he’ll work at the Animal Planet channel. They’ve all perfected the art of pushing each other’s buttons.

Professional Bio

I was in Junior High when a social studies teacher offered up a semester long stock picking contest. I was instantly hooked on the intricacy of the financial markets, and it ultimately became a career path and a passion. I went to Old Dominion University for Sports Management and Marketing, but when the Red Sox job went to someone else, I was forced to improvise. My formal training in financial services started at Morgan Stanley (Dean Witter) in NYC and I then worked for the firm in West Palm Beach for several years. In 2000, I found the perfect partner to grow my business in Raymond James, and I’ve been here ever since. I’ve made it a point throughout my career to work extensively with the most successful, and seasoned advisors I could find. Each year I continue to hone my craft through education and training. I’ve completed the Wealth Management Specialist and the Advanced Trust Institute (RJU) programs and I’m currently working on the Certified Divorce Financial Analyst designation. Some of things that are important to me include:

  • Exeter Area Chamber of Commerce
  • Rotary club of Exeter
  • American Independence Museum
  • The Krempels Center
  • Exeter High School Alumni Association
  • Squamscott Community Commons
