Bill is the president of Zufall Financial Services and a Raymond James financial advisor. He has over 28 years of experience in the industry. Bill began his investment advisory career at Raymond James in 1997. He left Raymond James to work with his father, William Zufall II at Merrill Lynch until returning to Raymond James in 2009. While at Merrill Lynch, Bill trained many financial advisors as a coach. A true student of wealth management, Bill felt strongly about teaching and training new advisors how to understand their clients’ objectives and educating them on how uncovering their clients’ needs was the primary step in achieving their goals. Since transferring back to Raymond James, Bill has been honored by Raymond James with the 2014 & 2016-2024 Executive Council*. In 2015, he was honored by Raymond James with the Leaders Council*. Bill has distinguished himself from other advisors by understanding and advising clients on their full financial picture. This includes investments, insurance and proper debt management and structure. While many advisors focus solely on asset accumulation, Bill also spends time discussing asset distribution, asset preservation and transfer of wealth. Bill is a graduate of Copley High School, 1992, University of Akron, 1997 and attended Wake Forest University 1993-1996. Bill retired as the boys’ head soccer coach at Highland High School in 2010, leaving with a winning record of 74-27-10. He is currently the head coach of the Highland High School varsity girls’ soccer team which ranked in the top 10 in Ohio in 2023 and 2024 as well as 9th in the nation in 2024. In 2023-2024, the team had back-to-back league and district championships and in 2024 the team won its first regional championship and was state runner-up. Bill has been recognized as the Medina Coach of the Year in 2007, 2008 and 2009 as well as 2023 and 2024. He has also been a finalist for State Coach of the Year in 2007. Bill was the Suburban League Coach of the Year in 2007 and 2010 and also received the Ron Pineshaum award in 2010. While as head coach, his program was ranked in the top 10 in the state for the 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010 seasons. He was an All-American and played professional soccer in Cleveland and Columbus. Over the summer 2006, he represented the USA in a Pro-Am soccer event in Germany during the World Cup. Bill is involved in the community through D.A.R.E program, Tadmor Shriners, Medina Kiwanis, and Akron Rotary. He is also a donor to the Highland Local School District, Playhouse Square, St. Jude’s Research Hospital, Rails to Trails, Local police and fire, Local youth sports, Medina Women’s Foundation, Wounded Warrior Project. He holds the designations of Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor, Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist. He maintains regulatory licenses 7, 24 and 66. Bill and his wife Jessica have three children, Vanessa, William IV, and Owen. Their family resides in the Highland Local School District.
