Gary’s fascination with the financial markets began in high school and remains today. After graduating college with a bachelor’s degree in finance with a minor in economics, his financial services career began when he joined Merrill Lynch in September 1988. Gary moved to Prudential Securities in November 1997 as a financial advisor and branch manager.

As his roles changed, so did his company’s names. Prudential Securities became Wachovia Securities, and then Wells Fargo Advisors. In 2000, Gary assumed the roles of non-producing manager and market manager for Wells Fargo Advisors in the Greater Detroit Market and the Greater Milwaukee Market, overseeing $65 million in revenue and $8.1 billion in assets.

Leaving Wells Fargo Advisors nearly 20 years later to join Raymond James in April 2015 gave Gary the opportunity to work with clients again.

“Working with Raymond James as complex manager to build up our presence in the state of Wisconsin, I hire, develop and coach financial advisors on creating customized solutions. As a financial advisor, I help plan my clients’ financial plans by also creating customized solutions,” he said. “It is the best of both worlds.”

Gary loves the RV lifestyle and frequently travels to faraway places in his motorhome. He also loves to barbecue and play golf.

Gary sits on the Board of Directors of the Southwest YMCA and is on the Executive Committee of the Hunger Task Force.

Gary and his wife, Sherry, live in New Berlin. They have two children, Chandler and Sydney.

Raymond James is not affiliated with any organizations mentioned above.
