The Dynamic Process

of developing your

financial plan

When you get to know people, you find there are many details and elements to their lives – not to mention goals and aspirations. That's why it's so important for us to get to know you, because these are the very elements that we'll use in building your financial plan. To help us account for them, we use a detailed process so that we may be thorough in our discovery and exact in our implementation. This process will help build the framework for making decisions collaboratively – applying not only our insight and recommendations, but yours and that of your outside advisors, too – and monitoring the outcome of those decisions as your plan is followed over time.

Like the beginning of a friendship, we will start with a meaningful, genuine conversation about all the things you'd like to accomplish in the future, and where you stand in light of those goals today. Throughout this time of sharing, we will use a variety of methods and tools to understand your personal goals, current financial situation, investment experience and desired level of risk. And as important as it is for us to learn about you, we'll also make you fully aware of our capabilities and provide you with insight concerning the scope of services we offer to help you meet your objectives. In getting to know each other in this way, we'll lay the foundation for an open and productive relationship that can grow and endure into the future.

We will analyze the information you share with us and recommend solutions intended to help you pursue your objectives. This step may involve collaboration with your other professional advisors, such as your CPA and attorney. We will present our recommendations to you, answer your questions, consider alternatives and outline the steps we need to take to implement your plan.
In this step, we will implement your personalized strategy using the extensive tools available to us through Raymond James. This involves the selection of specific account types, investment products and optional services; we then complete the necessary paperwork in a coordinated approach.
Once implemented, We will review the progress of your plan relative to your defined objectives and suggest any changes where needed. A key to this step is the relationship we will build together. Hopefully, you'll stop by whenever you're nearby to say hello so we can catch up with you and your family's latest news. And don't forget to say "hello" whenever you see us around town. In a more formal way, we'll also provide you with ongoing reporting of your account activity, meet periodically to review your portfolio's allocation and performance, and check up on your current circumstances and goals. By being in step with your life, we can help keep your personal financial plan working at its best.
