Erin began her career in the Financial Planning Residency Program at Raymond James, where she served as a case worker on complex Financial Plans for Advisors in the field. In 2011, she began serving clients throughout the country. To support her growing client base, she completed rigorous coursework to receive the prestigious certification as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional.

Her practice focuses on strategic goal planning while incorporating tax efficient strategies. In 2016, Erin was formally invited to join The Doepel Group as a partner and the succession leader of her mother, Ruth Doepel. Together, as Doepel & Wikstrom Wealth Management, they diligently serve their clients with an emphasis on helping individuals live well throughout their careers, retirement, and beyond.

When Erin is not at the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband and four children. She supports Resurrection Church by teaching preschool class twice per month and translating for Spanish-speaking families at their monthly food pantry.

Each year Financial Planning ranks the highest-producing advisors in wealth management who are under 40. Over 370 candidates were considered and 40 were chosen to receive each list: the Top 40 Advisors Under 40 and the Top 40 Regional Advisors Under 40. Nominees for the rankings were 39 or younger as of Dec. 31, 2024, and were an employee working as a registered broker at a U.S. broker-dealer. Nominees must also have an acceptable compliance record, their T-12 production should be at least $1M, and custody of assets must be with the nominee’s firm of employment.
