Gregory Hartman

Greg Hartman,

CPA* Financial Advisor

“It was as the managing partner of a well-established accounting firm that I first recognized clients’ needs for holistic financial guidance – so I seized the opportunity to become a full-time financial planner. When it comes to preserving wealth, one must be ever mindful of the erosive effect of taxes.”

Greg Hartman

Greg builds close relationships with the many clients he serves, which include individuals, families, and owners of small businesses. He helps them define their financial goals and then develops a financial plan designed to provide them with the likelihood of reaching them.

He educates and advises his clients on all of their financial matters, including budgeting, pre- and post-retirement planning, college planning, insurance and annuities, estate planning, and charitable giving and tax strategies. Greg also offers his guidance regarding their IRAs, Roth IRAs, SIMPLE IRAs and 401(k) plans, and even significant life decisions such as buying or selling a home or business.

Before joining Raymond James in 2004, Greg was also a managing partner of a CPA firm for over 30 years until 2018. He has been a Certified Public Accountant for more than 40 years, and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business with a specialty in accounting from Gettysburg College.

Originally from Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, Greg moved to Mechanicsburg in 1965, where he and his wife, Magalys, live today. They have five children, Amy, Kelly, Tiffany, Tanya, Megan; and seven grandchildren, Eliana, Charleigh, Tyler, Ryan, Cameron, Roman and Dominic. In his free time, Greg enjoys watching sports and playing golf and church softball. He also loves the beach and spending time with his friends and family, especially his grandchildren.

Greg is a member and a church leader of Grace Community Church in Mechanicsburg, PA, where he was the assistant director of the nursery ministry team. He also coached for the Mechanicsburg Girls Softball Association (MGSA) for many years. He is also a member of the West Shore Chamber of Commerce.
