As a founding member of the Hamilton Thompson Wealth Management team of Raymond James, Todd has been committed to advising clients in a thoughtful and consultative manner for nearly 25 years, earning his first securities registrations while working toward his undergraduate degree in Political Science from Denison University in Granville, Ohio.
Prior to joining Raymond James in 2019, the first 14 years of Todd's career were spent within the Private Client Group of Merrill Lynch, followed by the subsequent transition of his practice to Wells Fargo Advisors. Todd's approach concentrates on striving to provide durable wealth for multiple generations through the ever changing market conditions we all experience each day. This approach certainly requires proactive communication and ongoing education. To that end, Todd earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification in 2006, and regularly attends industry conferences and symposiums in an effort to remain an educated and engaged resource for clients and their other trusted family advisors, including attorneys and accountants.
Originally from the western suburbs of Chicago, Todd, his wife Michelle, daughter Avery and son Brody live in Western Springs and are active within the St. John of the Cross Parish and St. John of the Cross Parish School. Much of Todd's time out of the office is happily spent coaching or volunteering with Avery and Brody's respective teams whether it be soccer, basketball or swimming.
Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. owns the certification marks CFP®, Certified Financial Planner™, and in the U.S., which it awards to individuals who successfully complete CFP Board’s initial and ongoing certification requirements.
