Our History



1962 - It all begins in Florida when Robert A. James Investments becomes a corporation.

1964 - Raymond and Associates merges with Robert A. James Investments, forming Raymond James & Associates.

1983 - Raymond James becomes a publicly traded diversified financial services holding company with subsidiaries engaged primarily in investment and financial planning, traded on the New York Stock Exchange (RJF).

2009 - January 16 - Financial Advisor, Curt Arcement, opens the Raymond James branch at 140B Rue Beauregard, Lafayette, LA.

2009 - February 27 - Financial Advisors, Nanette Soileau Heggie and Eric Carr join the office. The independent practice begins to operate under the "Investment Partners of Acadiana" name.

2009 - June - Official ribbon cutting for the original Investment Partners of Acadiana branch office.

2015 September 21st -"Heggie Investment Partners" officially becomes its own branch at the same 140B Rue Beauregard location with Nanette Soileau Heggie, CFP® serving as branch manager.

 

2015 - November - Official ribbon cutting and jambalaya celebration for the Heggie Investment Partners branch office.

2016 September 21st - Heggie Investment Partners celebrates their 1 year anniversary.
