Dennis K. Wolfe, CPA, CFP®

Senior Vice President, Investments

Dennis is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Financial Planner™ practitioner who specializes in 401(k) plan design, implementation, service and monitoring. He provides a comprehensive and client-centered approach to serving the needs of company retirement plan sponsors and plan participants.

Prior to joining the firm in February 2000, Dennis was co-founding partner of a national physician practice management and business services firm. While there, he worked as the company’s partner in charge of financial management services to radiology and anesthesiology groups and imaging centers.

Earlier in his career, he worked as a Certified Public Accountant and auditor with an international public accounting firm. Prior to college, he spent two years in the Japanese cities of Tokyo, Nagano and Niigata, providing volunteer mission service to newly planted churches, followed by a four-year consulting staff position at The Japan Center of Tennessee. While there, Dennis worked on projects designed to strengthen community relationships with Japanese industry throughout the state of Tennessee as he finished business school.

Dennis studied business and economics at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, and earned a Bachelor of Business degree in accounting from Middle Tennessee State University. He holds Series 7, 9, 10 and 11 securities licenses.

During his work in Japan and subsequent college experience, it became apparent to Dennis that his gifts, abilities and interests aligned very well with the field of accounting, finance and later evolving to financial planning and advisory work.

Dennis is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Financial Planning Association. He has also served in several positions for the Boy Scouts of America, including scoutmaster; various local committees and as an executive board member of the Cherokee Area Council. Dennis also serves as a finance advisory board member for the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga’s College of Business.

Originally from Cleveland, Dennis lives in Signal Mountain with his wife, Celeste. They have two children, Ethan and Emilee. In his free time, Dennis enjoys travel, reading, hiking and playing golf with his friends and family. He also actively serves in several capacities in his church and faith community.
