Ed Carroll

Ed is a financial services veteran, having spent four decades in various roles throughout the industry. He started out as a money manager at the New York Stock Exchange during the financial boom of the early 1980s. He worked his way through several roles across various firms over the course of his career, including operations manager, sales manager, branch manager, regional administrative officer and compliance officer, before eventually moving on to the role of investment specialist. He joined Raymond James citing very desirable career opportunities following the sale of his most recent company.

Ed’s approach to branch management encompasses all facets of day-to-day and big-picture operations. He is dedicated to facilitating the most effective and results-driven environment possible for conducting financial services functions. Growth of business and client service are the driving forces behind Ed’s commitment to his craft.

Honesty and thoroughness are two traits that Ed believes are most valuable when upholding the values he brings to Raymond James. He demonstrates them every day, helping to build and maintain a solid culture while promoting regulatory compliance. “I love working with people and promoting a fun, productive culture that focuses on business growth and that benefits every employee,” he says.

Having grown up in New York City, Ed also lived in Pennsylvania, Michigan and Iowa before moving to Kansas. He currently resides in Olathe with his wife, Karen, where he has spent the past 16 years. Ed has three children, Victoria Erin, Alexandra Meegan and Brendan Edward. In his spare time, he enjoys volunteering at the Dynasty Volleyball Club – where he is on call for projects at all times – as well as other opportunities for community involvement, such as the Harvesters Community Food Network and at the KC Marathon.
