The Tampa Bay Business Journal Fast 50 Award is based on third party nominations for privately held and locally owned companies headquartered in Hernando, Hillsborough, Manatee, Pasco, Pinellas, Polk, or Sarasota counties. These companies must have been in operation since January 1, 2022 (or prior) with annual revenue of at least $1 Million in 2022. Winners are chosen by an independent editorial team based on fastest growing revenue along with the merits, achievements, and contributions these companies have had to their organizations and local community. 50 companies of approximately 150 applicants were selected for 2025 based on a time period of January 1, 2022 to December 31, 2024 and winners were announced on June 3, 2025.
