Her steadfast purpose is to serve as an invaluable strategic financial planning partner, closely working with clients and their other trusted professionals – such as attorneys and accountants – so they can spend less time worrying about finances and more time doing the things they truly enjoy.

Lisa knows the key to a well-designed plan is to develop a comfortable rapport and connection with each client to understand their objectives, needs, concerns, and financial situation. It’s a task she accomplishes not only by asking questions but also by knowing the right questions to ask and the important details to note. No matter their plans, clients know they can rely on Lisa for the dedicated and distinctly personalized service they deserve.

Lisa’s clientele includes high-net-worth individuals and families with a focus on business owners and professional women. From helping these clients preserve their wealth and pass it on to their families, to fulfilling their philanthropic legacies, Lisa prides herself in making financial planning a meaningful experience. Known for her attention to detail, she ensures clients’ plans align with their long-term objectives and near-term needs.

As a seasoned advisor, Lisa completed several advanced certifications throughout her career to advance her personal and professional growth. She holds the Certifed Private Wealth Advisor (CPWA®) designation, an advanced program for financial advisors who work with high-net-worth clients on the life-cycle of wealth: accumulation, preservation, and distribution. In addition to her CPWA® designation, she holds the Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA®) credential, enhancing her ability to engage business owners and have value-added conversations around growth and exit. Lisa also completed the Private Wealth Advisor (PWA) designation from Raymond James, which recognizes her experience in managing the financial concerns of families, individuals, and organizations of significant wealth, and her mastery of methods and resources necessary to support their expansive financial interests.

Before joining Raymond James in 2014, Lisa served as a vice president with Morgan Stanley Wealth Management, where she worked for 20 years. She earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Rochester.

Giving back to her community is another passion that Lisa continues to pursue. She has served Nardin Academy for over 10 years in various capacities, including board chair for three years, committee member, treasurer, chair of the investment committee, and current investment committee member. In 2023, she was awarded the Ernestine Nardin Distinguished Service Award4 for her ongoing commitment to the school. She is a current investment committee member of Hospice & Palliative Care Buffalo and The Cullen Foundation, supporting the education of students in grades pre-K through 12 and advances in theatre and performing arts.

She has devoted her time over the years to many other local organizations including the WNY Women’s Foundation, where she’s served as secretary, two-term board member, and a three-time chair of the What She’s Made Of signature event. In addition, Lisa has served on the board of the Kenmore Mercy Hospital Foundation as a Hospice Signature Society member and as a Roswell Park All-Star Night committee member.

Originally from Kenmore, Lisa lives in Buffalo. She has two children, Katie and PJ, and enjoys golfing, cooking, working out, and walking her dog, Kutcher.

The Forbes Best-In-State Wealth Advisors 2024 ranking, developed by SHOOK Research, is based on an algorithm of qualitative criteria, mostly gained through telephone and in-person due diligence interviews and quantitative data. This ranking is based upon the period from 6/30/2022 to 6/30/2023 and was released on 4/3/2024. Those advisors that are considered have a minimum of seven years of experience, and the algorithm weighs factors like revenue trends, assets under management, compliance records, industry experience, and those that encompass best practices in their practices and approach to working with clients. Portfolio performance is not a criterion due to varying client objectives and a lack of audited data. Out of approximately 42,108 nominations, roughly 8,500 advisors received the award.
