Scott strives on a daily basis to assist his clients as they work diligently to accumulate, preserve and transfer wealth through the generations. With an interest in financial services that began during his collegiate studies, Scott understands that the financial planning process is not a “one size fits all” venture, a belief that his decades-long career reflects.
After graduating from Campbell University with a bachelor’s degree in business and trust administration in 1986, Scott began his career as a financial consultant in Smithfield with Carolina Securities. Before joining Raymond James with his team in 2015, Scott served as senior vice president with Davenport & Company for 14 years.
A Greensboro native, Scott has been married to his wife, Marie, for the past 25 years. Together they have three children, Clif, Reese and Oksana. Active in his community, Scott is a former board member of Habitat for Humanity of Wake County and former treasurer of both the Smithfield Rotary Club and Hayes Barton Baptist Church. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with friends and family and vacationing on the North Carolina coast.
