Mark Jones has worked in the financial services industry for more than 18 years. He graduated cum laude from the University of Florida with a degree in business and has achieved the Accredited Portfolio Management Advisor™ designation, a professional education program through the College for Financial Planning.

Starting his career in the heart of New York City in 2004, Mark made his way back to his home turf in Jacksonville and St. Augustine via Bank of America Investments. His career continued at Wells Fargo Advisors, BB&T Scott & Stringfellow and now Raymond James. Mark was a financial advisor for eight years and has expanded his role with Magnolia Wealth Advisors of Raymond James as a Senior Investment Portfolio Analyst. His responsibilities include the development and execution of a cohesive investment strategy via financial planning, portfolio management and analysis, security selection and strategic asset allocation. Mark and his wife, Tracy, are proud to raise their three children, Ella, Lydia and Declan, in St. Augustine, Florida.

  • Q. What is your favorite kind of trip? Why?
  • A. Any trip I take with my wife and three children is my favorite. Spending time with them is the most important thing to me.
  • Q. What are your must-have travel items?
  • A. Snacks, lots of snacks for three children.
  • Q. How do you spend your time outside of the office?
  • A. Most of my time outside the office is spent with my family: relaxing, playing games, going to the beach, athletic events, riding bikes and just having a good time together.
  • Q. If you weren’t doing what you do today, what other job would you have?
  • A. Probably some kind of work with children.
  • Q. What’s the one thing that might surprise others about you?
  • A. I met my wife on the first day of college, and we have been together ever since.
  • Q. If you could spend a week anywhere in the world, where would it be?
  • A. Ireland
