A Hastings native through and through, Ashtyn was born and raised in the heart of Nebraska, where she found her passions early on in choir and 4-H. After graduating early from Hastings High School in 2013, she set out for Bend, Oregon, where she earned her certification in Aesthetics and spent her free time hiking, paddle boarding, and exploring the rugged coastline.
Over the years, Ashtyn has worn many hats in the customer service world—from crafting lattes in cozy coffee shops to organizing behind the scenes in administrative roles. She also gained valuable experience working in the dental field, where she further honed her skills in client care and professionalism. In 2022, the call of the Midwest brought her back home. She joined the Nelson Financial Services team as a Branch Service Associate that fall and has truly enjoyed the new direction her career has taken.
When she’s not at work, you’ll likely find Ashtyn in the kitchen baking, capturing everyday moments through photography, working on home projects and crafts, or hitting the open road on a motorcycle. She’s also an avid football fan, proudly cheering on both the Nebraska Cornhuskers and the Oregon Ducks. Her favorite role of all, though, is being a wife to Joe and mom to their daughter, Jensyn.
